Term Limits

Overall Plan

Bring education back to classic standards and change the system so that it functions as a representative service and not a dictatorship. Return to traditional subject matter and methods resulting in a good education for our children and successfully extend our culture forward.

Observation

School board members are representatives. While there is much know-how and understanding required to being a member of the school board, it is mostly an administrative position that requires finding out what people think and want and then getting that as closely as practicable.

A bureaucrat is like a rug. You vacuum it every day, shampoo it once in a while and replace it, especially in worn areas, every few years.

Some are experts and should not be discouraged in any way from contributing their opinions and advice to the educational process. Maybe a consulting function needs to be established to take advantage of people's experience and expertise.
