#21 - Take the reins…
Most things in life are grey. It could lean a little bit this way or a little bit that way. A range of possibilities. There are a few things that are obviously just black and white. CAUSE and EFFECT is one of them.
If you are not being cause then you are being effect. No in between. If you’re letting someone or something else decide or influence the outcome of the education system, then you are not at cause. You’re at effect.
If you’re not getting involved and school board meetings, legislation and your child’s education, then you’re letting someone else be in-charge - at cause.
It’s as simple as that. No more complex than that. If you hesitate to act or choose to ignore issues or just stay on the couch, then you get what somebody else wants. You’re at total effect of them. Critical Race Theory, Sex and Gender Education and Instruction for Kindergartners, Cancellation of almost everything.
If that isn’t what you want, you have to stand up - participate - get in there. You can’t sort of “wish” it away.
