#47 - You Can’t Have That

The effects of decisions about education get obscured by a lot of flowery and scientific sounding words. The decision to do this or that is justified by some really good sounding explanations and nobody ever questions the effect. We just accept what they tell us as truth.

So, what is the real effect of a poor education or no education at all?

The effect is simple. It denies or prevents you from having things.

On a personal level, less education means you won’t be as accomplished as you could be. It means you won’t earn as much money. You just won’t have as much.

It means you are probably not as knowledgeable as you could be.

It means you might not have as much for your family as you could have. Having less education and less knowledge could translate into less having and less doing for your family.

Preventing education about religion and indoctrination that invalidates God denies you and those around you the benefits of religion. Some say these benefits are eternal. For some people, life with religion in it would be more satisfying.

It may sound a little subjective, but education effects nearly everything. Power of Choice. With less education, you would have fewer choices. It’s another way of saying less freedom.

Less education means fewer physical possessions and a lower standard of living. It means things like less travel and reduced understanding of your rights. There’s no end to the list of things you’ll be denied.

Some people manage to educate themselves, but they are the rare exception to the rule. Preventing education, hijacking it or turning it into indoctrination aimed at some particular ideology are all forms of stealing your education which translates to you can’t have that.
